To apply for civil disability and recognition of disabilities, procedures that can accrue rights for recompenses and possible work benefits (for the parent) and that can improve quality of life during treatment.

Families that live far from the hospital may need to find accommodation near the Institute to carry out treatment in the day-hospital or to accommodate a second family member who is helping care for the patient.
You can talk to the Social Assistant to evaluate, in the supply-demand relationship, the choice of the best solution, bearing in mind the options available.
Families in economic difficulty will be directed to the Italian League for the Fight Against Cancer (LILT), Milan branch.
The Social Assistant is also available to contact the municipality of residence or any other associations in the area.

The educators are available:
on the ward from Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 17.30 and at the weekend and holidays from 14.30 to 18.30;
in the outpatients’ department from Monday to Friday from 10.30 to 13.30;
The Games Room on the ward is open 24 hours.
For parents, a dance therapy session with the Trasmuda® method is offered on Thursday, and a yoga session on Friday, from 15.00 to 16.00.
